Chris Colpo – Vocals, Bass

Chris is still pinching himself to be sure he’s actually fronting such a talented group of musicians. “REM was my favorite band in high school, and their influence has been pervasive throughout my musical career”. Over the years he’s played in a diverse line up of local bands including (but not limited to) Time Life Band, Salena Catalina, The Borderless Puzzle, Rich Mahogany And The Leather Bound Books, and his current prog-rock outfit Hepcat Dilemma. He’s not entirely certain he’s singing Stipe’s lyrics accurately, but he’s not convinced Stipe was, either.

Steve SeelGuitar, Mandolin, Vocals

For Steve, The Reckoning offers a chance to recreate music that was highly influential on him. "In 1983, REM changed my view of the role of the guitar in a rock band." The Reckoning also gives Steve a good reason to buy Rickenbacker guitars (he owns four of them). In addition to The Reckoning, Steve plays in numerous other original and cover projects. His diverse musical background includes jazz, R&B, classic rock, punk, experimental, and ambient.

Dave Klug -- Drums

Dave has been playing drums for 40 years and quite often there were a few REM songs in the setlist. "This is a band I grew up with, I love their music and I love playing it." Dave's daytime gig is as a world renowned illustrator, working with all the best in publishing. Dave plays Premier drums and Paiste cymbals. A vintage Slingerland kit makes it on stage every once in awhile too.

Favorite REM song – Gardening at Night

Andy McDuffie -- Bass, Vocals

Andy has been playing REM songs almost as long as REM. When not attempting to sound like Mike Mills he is a system integration engineer in the medical technology industry. He's not sure what that means either.

Favorite REM song – Carnival of Sorts (Boxcars)

Terry DivelblissKeyboards

Terry Divelbliss discovered his parents’ new Thomas Troubadour organ at age 5 and was taking piano
lessons by age 6. “Barry Manilow Live!” quickly opened the door to playing by ear, then along came Styx,
Billy Joel, and other keyboard-heavy artists by late elementary school. Fast forward a few years to ’80s
British new wave, whose minor-key ear candy Terry used heavily with his band Seven Color Sky starting
in 2005. That band offered an opportunity to work on an EP and album with Psychedelic Furs guitarist
John Ashton at the helm. Terry’s favorite professional moment was playing a full set at Club Cafe with
The English Beat on five minutes’ notice in 2005. He is currently a member of Smokin’ Section, Change of
Heart (Tom Petty Tribute) and other Pittsburgh tribute show lineups!

Scott CanavanGuitar, Vocals, Coffee

The newest, but not the youngest member of The Reckoning, Scott joined after being a fan of the band and wanting in on the action. His lifelong love of music and songwriting allows him to be among friends and continue to collaborate on this and other music projects in Pittsburgh. Having first heard REM in a galaxy far, far away on college radio stations like WRCT and WPTS, he can be seen with the guys in The Reckoning or at his home studio Fear Of Fish Studios (also in Pittsburgh).
